New on Droplet: Search for Causes, Multi-Team Support, and More

By Brandon Rumancik · 5 min read

We've been busy.

Over the past few weeks, we've shipped a wave of updates to make Droplet better for both donors and organizers. Here's what's new.

Search for Any Fundraiser

You no longer need a direct link from a coach to find a cause to support. Donors can now search for any active fundraiser by team name, organization, or fundraiser name — right from the homepage or from inside their dashboard.

Found a team you want to back? Click their name to see their cause page, check their progress, and start supporting with one tap.

This also means coaches don't have to manually send links to every single supporter. Anyone can find your team on Droplet and start rounding up.

Support Multiple Causes at Once

Previously, donors could only support one fundraiser at a time. Now you can support up to four causes simultaneously, and your round-ups split evenly across all of them.

Supporting your kid's baseball team and the school PTA? Your weekly round-ups automatically divide between them. Add or remove causes anytime from the Causes tab in your dashboard — allocations rebalance automatically.

One-Time Donations with Card or Bank Transfer

Every fundraiser page now has a one-time gift option alongside round-up support. Supporters can choose a preset amount or enter a custom donation, and check out securely through Stripe.

For larger donations, we've added ACH bank transfer as a payment option. Instead of paying 2.9% in credit card fees on a $500 gift, donors can pay via bank transfer where fees are capped at $5. More of the money goes directly to the team.

Redesigned Cause Pages

Fundraiser pages got a complete makeover. Each cause page now shows the organizer's name, a live progress bar with supporter count, a "How it works" section for new visitors, recent supporters for social proof, share buttons for Facebook, Instagram, and text, and a verified organization badge for trust.

The goal: when a parent shares your fundraiser link, the person who opens it should immediately understand what Droplet is, feel confident it's legitimate, and sign up in under a minute.

Improved Onboarding for New Donors

New donors who sign up without a team link now get a "Find a Cause" step in the onboarding wizard. They can search for a fundraiser, see the organizer's name, and pick a team to support — all before linking their card.

For donors who land on the dashboard before completing setup, a checklist banner shows exactly what steps are left. No one gets stuck wondering what to do next.

What's Coming Next

We're not slowing down. Here's what's on the roadmap: fundraiser page customization so organizers can add more details about their team, donor commitment periods for predictable fundraising, and enhanced email reports showing donors exactly how their round-ups are making an impact.

If you're already on Droplet, you're getting all of these features automatically. If you're not, head to givedroplet.com to start your fundraiser or sign up as a supporter.

Every drop counts.
