Modern fundraising platforms have made it absurdly easy to get started. Here's a walkthrough of setting up a round-up fundraiser on Droplet.
Go to app.givedroplet.com/signup. No credit card required, no contracts.
Enter your team's name and a brief description.
Link through Stripe Connect — same platform used by Amazon and Shopify.
Name it and set a goal. Examples: "Fall Ball 2026," "PTA Playground Fund," "Spring Equipment."
Text it, email it, post it on social media. The more families that sign up, the more you raise.
Send the link multiple times. Lead by example. Make it a team goal: "If we get 20 families, we'll raise over $4,000 without a single bake sale."
"Is it safe?" Yes — Plaid (same as Venmo) + Stripe + 256-bit encryption.
"How much will I be charged?" You set your cap: $2.50-$20/week.
"Can I stop anytime?" Yes. Pause or cancel from your dashboard.
Visit givedroplet.com and set up your fundraiser right now.
